Richard Prakash

I am a New Zealand Citizen and a resident of Waitakere City. I have a background in Trade Union and community work in particular with extensive experience working with ethnic communities of a diverse cultural mix.

I am married with four children and am a small business owner. Presently I am a Senior Immigration and General Business Consultant.

My key qualities: friendly, outgoing and enjoy working within a team environment.  I believe in clean, green and sustainable economic development for our community.

My central goal is to provide a better standard of living and enhancing the quality of life within the community while promoting conservation, clean environment, and social justice for all.  I will always be willing and prepared to help ratepayers, while ensuring that rates are always fair and reasonable and that the services provided are at their optimum value.
