The Waitakere Ranges Local Board
The Waitakere Ranges Local Board area covers the Waitakere Ranges Heritage Area. It is bounded by the Tasman Sea to the west and the Manukau Harbour to the south. The Local Board area includes the suburbs of Henderson Valley, Oratia, Glen Eden, Waima, Woodlands Park and Titirangi, as well as the townships of Waitakere, Swanson, Waiatarua, Laingholm, Cornwallis and Huia, and the west coast beaches of Bethells-Te Henga, Anawhata, Piha, Karekare and Whatipu.
