Cherie Jameson

I grew up in Green Bay and Blockhouse Bay, and I have recently returned to live in Cliff View Drive Green Bay.

I am a Bachelor of Business Graduate.  I have worked for a multinational corporation, and I then ventured into publishing.  I successfully launching “Destinations” in New Zealand and “Enhance” magazine throughout  Australia and  Asia.  Currently my work covers economic and environmental policy development, particulary focusing on socially responsible investment. I am on the Natonal Council of U.N.A.N.Z being elected as their  ‘Special Officer for Sustainable Development’

I recall the sense of community enjoyment and security from my childhood, as an adult and mother I recognise the ongoing task required to protect, build and enhance our communities. I would work passionately on our Local Board to attend to the issues,  advocating concerns and proposals of all our communities and local businesses in “the Bays”, Avondale, New Lynn and Kelston.

My priorities will be developing community facilities, safety and security & environmental protection. Please consider voting for me and my Future West colleagues.
